Maybe one of the best films 2013 but it was not enough to take the best picture except maybe in the Independent Spirit Awards.
After seeing this movie, Matthew and Jared deserved to win the acting prize, their physical transformations proved that they are very serious in getting the prestigious golden man.
A very dark film but truthful in showing the true face of HIV/AIDS and what the victim must go through in the early years of the epidemic.
Inspired by true events, it tells us the unlikely alliance which eventually turned into a friendship of two AIDS victim, a homophobic and transgender woman.
As what Matthew has stated in his Golden Globe win, Dallas Buyer is not about dying but living.
