Jasmine: Anxiety, nightmares and a nervous breakdown, there’s only so many traumas a person can withstand until they take to the streets and start screaming.

It will be a major grandslam for dear Cate Blanchett, she's on track in collecting her 2nd Oscar award for this film.  

I am not riding on a bandwagon here but I say, she's so great here in this film playing a neurotic socialite who crumbled down and found herself at the bottom of the sea.

This would have not been possible without the little assistance from Woody Allen.

The film itself is not a Best Picture material but I will consider it as a very fine and well crafted film.

Sally Hawkins who played Ginger her sister was nominated also for Best Supporting Actress, good that it was recognized but her performance is not enough to push Jennifer and Lupita aside.
