Puerto Galera, Oriental Mindoro (2013)

Gay-lera as often called.  Pretty obvious, no explanations needed.  Kung mayroon mang unang gugunawin sa Pilipinas, for sure Galera na iyon - ubos siguro 25% ng populasyon ng kabadingan sa Pilipinas.

Natagalan din ako sa aking pilgrimage sa aming Mecca considering in gay years, eh lola na ako.  Isa ako sa mga beks na mabibilang lang ang mga beki friends.  I don't know maybe it's a choice or maybe that's the way it is.  Mas marami talagang girls.  In this case kasama ko ang mga girl and gay friends ko from work with Lester.

For those interested to go to Puerto Galera, don't fret - it's easy as ABC.  But I would suggest of course to reserve a hotel/lodging place before the trip.

Ah yes... the reservation - we have made a reservation somewhere in Sabang only to find out that it's not the best.  It should be located in White Beach, Galera.  Dahil dito, we need to look for a new place to stay considering it's 1 day before the trip.  Luckily, there's someone already in Galera at that time and assured that he could make the reservation.

Wooohooo!!! 

As mentioned, going to Galera is very easy.  There are good buses going to Batangas port, you have the option to take this from Cubao or Buendia/Gil Puyat stations.  We left Cubao station 6am and reached the port around 10.  From the port, you need to pay various corruption fees - sorry I meant, environmental, travel, etc.  Cannot remember how much but should be reasonable and get a boat going to White Beach.

I have to note though that this is Divisoria level na scenario.  Hindi mawawala ang fixers or iyong tumutulong for a right price.  Doon kami sa tumutulong for a right price.   Please ensure na roundtrip na iyong ticket. 

By the way overnight lang ang biyaheng ito.

Sail away! Sail away! 1.5 hours din ang biyahe. 

Welcome friends to Puerto Galera kaso iyong pinangakong accommodation, wala.  As in wala.  Bravo!!! Best!!! Saya-saya!!! FO!!!

No time wasted and kailangan maghanap ng matutulugan.  We ended up staying in different inns.  Luckily, hindi naman kami tinaga considering na peak season.

Umuulan ng kabadingan sa Galera... ang count hindi 1.2.3.4. but 10.20.30.40., tumpukan.  Food stalls are typicals, also the prices - not that different with Manila prices.  Beach is ok, not Bora level malamang.

Night time mas lalong dumami, parang Gremlins level.  Enjoy iyong Drag performances.  We went to bed midnight.

 

Morning after, breakfast - relax, relax kapag may time.  Lunch and back to Manila.

Iba ang lagkit level pabalik sa Manila, champorado level.  Huwag kang tumingin sa salamin dahil chaka chaka ng makikita mo.  HAHAHA!
