I came across Pompeii in senior year of high school and the famous Mount Vesuvius. This is the main reason I became interested in this film.Visual effects are great but nothing good can be told about the story, a Titanic knock-off combined with bad writing and directing.
I guess it would be really hard to appreciate a film like this when you have the likes of Troy and Gladiator.
good thing i didn't expect much from it before entering the cinema. i knew it wasn't gonna be good but a nice way to spend a saturday afternoon- niko
