"Here's Johnny!"
Another cinema classic from Stanley Kubrick and one of Jack Nicholson's famous role. This is based on Stephen King's novel of the same title.
Still scary but I think it would have been much creepier during its era just like The Exorcist in the 70s. There's an unexplainable weirdness to some extent but again this is Kubrick's art so I think it should be expected.
One of the problem I have with this film is it's just too long for a horror film, even for a King's novel. It could have been 90 minutes but the original version lasted for 140 minutes.
I think the next one of this crazy marathon is Misery by Kathy Bates.
