The Divergent Series: Insurgent (2015)
It's not as bad as what the critics are saying. Actually, it was more than enough to entertain.
It has its flaws and boring visual effects but the main problem for me is Miles Teller - he's so effective playing someone that you can easily get irritated with, undoubtedly, he is one of this generation's "it teen stars" having showcased serious acting chops in Whiplash.
I hope we don't get anymore new movies or series that discuss dystopian future, we've had enough and saturated with the stories. I know same can be said with superhero films.

Divergent (2014)
| Picture used not mine |
I liked it - even if it's your usual outcast being the victor and savior of the day. Kate Winslet, an antogonist, who was very effective in her role. A trend in Hollywood.
Unlike Hunger Games, the first installment novel/film tended on the romantic side. I think the technique was effective. Let's see how Insurgent will fare.
What I don't like about the film was the involvement of Miles Teller. I just don't like the guy.
