Boyhood (2014)

As what PL Travers said in Saving Mr. Banks - "gravitas", and this film has a lot of those.

Humanizing and very natural.

I fell in love with Patricia Arquette's character and really hoping she gets a nod for this role.

Since this is one of Oscar's front runners in the best picture category, expect that it will be long - approximately 3 hours.  It's still worth it.

While it does not offer visual effects, this 12 year epic story gave the audience important lessons in life - imperfections, mistakes, forgiveness, growing up and moving on, success and making your own journey.

Having said the good qualities, I will understand if some folks will not like it.  And by some folks I mean and looking at you DJDurs.
